Lobbying Prototype

The problem for institutional investors who have the power to influence the companies they own is that there is very little index-level data that can fit into their fund management and engagement processes. There is also a critical lack of transparency and public scrutiny around the same companies' direct lobbying activities, whether they are truthful and consistent in disclosing their lobbying positions, and whether they support trade associations that undermine climate policy.
